The gastronomy of the coast is based on the fish and seafood from the Mediterranean, fruits and vegetables. These are the key ingredients of the traditional kitchen of the Costa del Sol, cooked with olive oil form the famous Mediterranean diet. amoung all the dishes we emphasize the gazpacho, the fried fish, "espetos de sardinas", the "boquerones" and a long etcetera of dishes related with the sea and highly demanded in the "chiringuitos" along the coast, in it´s restaurants and bars, although we must not forget very typical tapas bars. In addition to the typical dishes, we can also taste many dishes from a wide range of international cuisine.
