The Serrania de Ronda is located in the north east of Malaga. It is located in the middle of Campo de Gibraltar, la Costa Occidental de Malaga, la Hoya de Malaga, la Depresion de Antequera and Sierra de Ubrique. Morphologicaly in form by an elevated planea rea of 700m over the sea level although other areas are 1.500m enhancing Sierra de las Nieves, el pico El Torrecilla (1919 m). Three valleys define this area geographically; el valle del Guadalteba que se abre al norte, el valle del Guadiaro al sudoeste y el valle del Genal al sudeste. In the middle, the meseta ( table land) of Ronda is fundamental as union area of the three valleys. There are 21 villages, the main one is Ronda the area enjoy 1.500 km2. And 55.000 inhabitants.

The gastronomy of the Serrania has a mixture of different products in its different seasons with Arabic tradition and most selected dishes.
