The Natural Park of the North Mountain of Seville is in the north side of this town it cover 164.840 h of one of the plane lands of Sierra Morena it is included some villages as Alanis, Almaden de la Plata, Cazalla de la Sierra, Constantina, Guadalcanal, Las Navas de la Concepcion, El Pedroso, La Puebla de los Infantes, El Real de la Jara y San Nicolas del Puerto. There is a Mediterraneam climate with dry and hot summers and smoth winters. There are huge areas of forests and nice rivers among them, the mnost known one called Rivera del Hueznar, and it is the only with trout in the area.

The holm oak of the north mountains of Sevilla have been the support for the Iberian pig, which has given to the area an excellent gastronomy, without forgotten the spectacular goat and sheep cheeses. Other specialty includes haunting dishes as rabbit, deer, wild board, partridge, pigeon, etc. In Winter the specialties are migas accompany with mosto of the area and olives ali?adas. The tomato gazpacho in summer and the Hierbabuena in Winter are in most of the dishes in this area. There is a rich tradition in the desserts as almendra, pesti?os, flores de miel, pi?onates, brazos de gitano, mantecados, etc.? And typical dishes of Sierra Norte de Sevilla are la perdiz con pimiento, el venado en adobo or tagarninas with habas.

The Natural Park of the north Sierra presents soft shapes in it s geographical land interrupted by small rivers. There ar a wide range of animlas as the mountain cat, otters, wild board, stag, fallow deer, down ; together with these there are other animal as rabbit and hare. There are great variety of birds as black vulture, stork, imperial eagel, culebrera y calzada. Related to the flowers, this area enjoys ample forests of Holm oaks and cork oaks. In other areas we will be able to enjoy of quejigos forests and other trees as chestnut and pines or elms. Next to the rivers there are ash trees, alisos and sauces. On the top of this in the north side you will enjoy the possibility of do sports as haunting, riding horses or cycling.
